منظور از create symlinks in standard directories چیه؟ میاد به usr/bin لینک میسازه که دیگه نیاز به اضافه کردن PATH نباشه؟

پاسخی که روی IRC (http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=latex) گرفتم:
if you install it to location X and X is not in your path then you have to either edit your path or symlink the binaries into some location in PATH which this does. but it’s better to add the new location to PATH

بله. البته خودش بهتون میگه کجا symlinks رو میسازه و حتی شما می‌تونید این مکان رو تغییر بدید.
